TRIANGLE 8 - JUNE 2012

TRIANGLE 8. Languages. Mathematical Approaches is edited by M. Dolores Jiménez López and contributed by  L. Becerra-Bonache, M.A. Grando, G. Liu, V. Manca, Z.P. Mecsei, B. Nagy, C. Tîrnăucă and S. Turaev.

This volume contains a collection of articles that present mathematical approaches to languages. The included works were discussed at the weekly seminars organized by the GRLMC.

Linguistics, computer science and formal languages have had a mutual influence over the years. Following this tradition of interaction, the articles in this issue provide multidisciplinary approaches which can improve the processing of natural and artificial languages.

This issue has been supported by Universitat Rovira i Virgili.

TRIANGLE 7 - MARCH 2012

TRIANGLE 7. Networks of Bioinspired Processors is co-edited by Dr. Alfonso Ortega de la Puente and Dr. Marina de la Cruz Echeandía, both of them professors at the Escuela Politécnica Superior of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

This volume aims to provide a state-of-the-art of the work recently done, by some relevant Spanish Research Groups, in the area of nets of processors.

It could be interesting for a wide spectrum of audience: from mathematicians and linguists to computer scientists that are looking for efficient new models of computation to apply to their problems.

This issue has been supported by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and by the Departament de Filologies Romàniques of Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
